Day 1: Ouarzazate to Erg Chigaga Luxury Camp
Your journey begins in Ouarzazate, the gateway to the Sahara. After a scenic drive through the Draa Valley, dotted with palm groves and ancient kasbahs, we’ll pass through Zagora and M’hamid, where the paved road ends. From here, the adventure kicks into high gear with a thrilling 4x4 off-road drive deep into the desert.
By sunset, you’ll arrive at the Erg Chigaga Luxury Camp, nestled among towering dunes. As the sun sets, enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner around the campfire, followed by Berber music under a blanket of stars. Your luxury tent offers all the comforts you need for a peaceful night in the heart of the Sahara.
Day 2: Full Day in Erg Chigaga Desert
Wake up early to catch the golden sunrise over the dunes – an unforgettable sight. After breakfast, you can choose to relax at the camp or join an optional camel trek across the sands. If you love adventure, sandboarding or a guided walk with a nomad guide is a must!
Later, enjoy a picnic in the dunes or a traditional lunch at the camp. In the afternoon, explore the remote landscapes surrounding the Erg Chigaga Luxury Camp, where the silence of the desert is only broken by the wind.

Day 3: Erg Chigaga to Marrakech via Foum Zguid and Taznakht
On your final day, we’ll take a scenic route back to civilization. After breakfast, we’ll drive through the Iriki dry lake and head towards Foum Zguid, a small desert town. From there, we continue to Taznakht, a village famous for its Berber carpets. Here, you’ll have a chance to browse local handicrafts and learn about traditional weaving techniques.
Finally, we’ll head towards the vibrant city of Marrakech, where your desert adventure ends.
