Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca – Begin Your Morocco Adventure!
Your 10-day Morocco itinerary kicks off in Casablanca. Whether you land at the airport or arrive from elsewhere, we’ll greet you warmly and start exploring Morocco’s economic capital.
We’ll visit the iconic Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest and most breathtaking mosques in the world, located on the Atlantic coastline. After free time for lunch, we’ll enjoy a scenic drive along Casablanca’s Corniche, a lovely oceanfront promenade.
In the evening, relax and unwind at your hotel for your first overnight stay.
Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen, the Blue Pearl
After breakfast, we drive along the beautiful coastline to Rabat, Morocco’s charming capital. You'll discover historical treasures like the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the picturesque Kasbah of the Udayas.
After lunch, we continue north toward Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains. Known for its blue-washed streets and serene vibes, Chefchaouen is a favorite for travelers and photographers alike. Wander around and take in the peaceful atmosphere before heading to your hotel.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes
This morning, feel free to explore the quiet streets of Chefchaouen before we hit the road. Next, we visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its mosaics and historical charm.
Our journey continues to Meknes, known as the Ismaili capital. You'll visit Bab Al-Mansour, the Royal Stables, the Sahrij Souani Basin, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail.
Finally, we head to Fes, where you’ll enjoy a restful night at a charming riad.
Day 4: Guided Tour of Fes – Morocco’s Cultural Heart
Today is dedicated to discovering Fes, one of Morocco’s most fascinating cities. With a local guide, we’ll explore the Royal Palace gates and wander through the UNESCO-listed medieval Medina.
You'll visit the famous Blue Gate (Bab Boujloud), the historical Medersa Bouanania, the bustling tannery district, and the oldest university in the world, Al Quaraouiyine. Afterward, stroll through the Jewish Quarter (Mellah) before heading to a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the entire city. Return to your riad for a relaxing evening.
Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Sahara Desert
After breakfast, we journey south, passing through the Switzerland-like town of Ifrane with its alpine architecture. Then, we visit the Cedars Forest, home to playful Barbary macaques.
We continue through the scenic Ziz Valley, stopping for photos before reaching Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Here, you’ll ride camels through the golden dunes, pausing atop a high dune to watch the magical sunset.
Arrive at your luxury desert camp, where you'll enjoy dinner, Berber music around the campfire, and a sky full of stars.
Day 6: Discover Merzouga – Nomads, Gnawa Music & Oasis
Rise early to catch a stunning Sahara sunrise. After breakfast, you can return to Merzouga by camel or 4x4. Optional ATV rides are available (extra cost).
Today, we explore the Merzouga region. First, we visit a traditional nomadic family to learn about their unique way of life. Next, we head to the village of Khamlia to enjoy the vibrant rhythms of Gnawa music.
After lunch, we’ll stroll through the lush palm groves near Merzouga. Finally, relax at your hotel and enjoy a well-earned dinner.
Day 7: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
After breakfast, we visit the traditional market of Rissani, a bustling souk known for its authenticity. From there, we explore a fossil workshop in Erfoud, famous for its fossilized marble.
Next, we journey to the impressive Todra Gorges, where towering cliffs frame the Todra River. It’s a paradise for nature lovers and rock climbers.
In the afternoon, we continue to the Dades Valley. Along the way, you’ll stop to marvel at the unique “Monkey Fingers” rock formations and panoramic views of the valley. Dinner and overnight in a cozy hotel.
Day 8: Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Today, we pass through the fragrant Rose Valley, famous for its May festival celebrating the local rose harvest.
We then continue through the Skoura Palm Grove before arriving in Ouarzazate, also called the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Here, we visit the Atlas Film Studios, where many famous movies were filmed.
Next, we explore Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO-listed fortified village that has appeared in movies like Gladiator and TV shows such as Game of Thrones. Afterward, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-N-Tichka pass on our way to Marrakech. Overnight stay in a riad.
Day 9: Guided Tour of Marrakech – The Red City
Start your day with a guided tour of vibrant Marrakech. You'll visit the beautiful Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Ben Youssef Madrasa.
After lunch near Jemaa El-Fna square, we’ll visit the iconic Koutoubia Mosque and the lush Majorelle Gardens, an oasis in the heart of the city.
In the evening, feel free to explore the famous Jemaa El-Fna square, buzzing with street performers, food stalls, and artisans.
Day 10: Marrakech – Casablanca Airport Transfer
On the final day of your Morocco itinerary for 10 days, enjoy a relaxing morning in Marrakech. Then, we drive you back to Casablanca, with scenic stops along the way. We’ll transfer you to the airport, where we’ll say goodbye, wishing you a safe journey home and hoping to see you again!
